Cheering lessons for our politicians!

Its the season for controversies..now that cricket is back big time on television.. the are having a great time with The IPL occupying much of prime time news. Well! that's their work..isn't .reporting what everyone wants to know about. So why is our friendly neighbourhood politician getting involved with cricket.. Unfortunately once he realised that he could not buy a franchise for himself , he has been trying to get involved.. its election time , isn't it? you have to be in the news somehow. So he looked around.. and what did he find.. fine young girls dancing to the beat with every boundary and every wicket that falls.. and hey..what else did he see.. most of them were wearing the kind of short skirts and low tops that his grand-daughter has been wearing to her colleges and parties..but hey..this is a cricket ground..and there are men watching.. there are ladies too in the ground..(all trying to enjoy their cricket).. but hey.. as a senior politician of the country, how could he be quiet and let this charade go on... he suddenly hits the headlines, parroting a line saying that these cheer girls are not part of our culture..(he has apparently forgotten that his granddaughter may not be part of this same culture then). The media, hungry for controversies grab words right out of his mouth and lo behold! everybody is talking about our man.. Then a few days go by... of course..the cheer girls respond in a way they know best..keep their mouth shut and dance away.. changing their attire to shorts and pants. No much change..just a little makeover.. and hey..they have won the hearts back. controversy parried away...the politician left fuming as he has not got the expected mileage.. he had thought of a headlong collision with the franchise bosses..and lots of television time.. but that didn't happen.. but not getting despondent, he 's back watching each of the games.. looking for another chance.
